There is no comparison with the vast majority of products applied to your skin that are made with water, alcohol, petroleum, petrolatum, mineral oil, and lanolin. Those are often messy, they don’t penetrate the skin, and some consumers are allergic to some of their ingredients. A growing number of consumers prefer formulas that don't use animal products or animal testing. That’s an important part of our focus.
Inspiration for the formulas came from surfers on the California coast. Body and wetsuit chafing required something other than age-old petroleum jelly, which was not an option. Petroleum ruins neoprene and it’s greasy. A better alternative had to be effective and comfortable on the skin. The solution came to be known as our Skin Formula.
Skin
Formula is built on ingredients that penetrate the skin and create an
invisible barrier to help guard against the rubbing that leads to chafing,
blisters, rash and other skin irritation. It’s a versatile formula that
helps moisturize skin and helps with dryness and cracked skin. It isn’t
greasy and it is easy to apply, uniquely long-lasting and comfortable.
Technically, it contains plant-derived triglycerides including aloe vera
extract and vitamin e.
Sun
Formula takes skin products to a new level. A 2-in-1 product, it was
requested by women who wanted a formula for comfort around sports bras—and a
sun screen, too. Today, the unique formula is used by men, women, and
children—often, just as a stand alone sun screen because it doesn’t
melt-off.
Our
focus on effective, easy to apply products led to development of our formula
to help relieve pain and soreness by delivering reliable and stimulating
warmth. It is a maximum strength, long-lasting topical heat producing balm
that is non-messy. It applies directly from the tube—a better solution than
other products that virtually require gloves to avoid getting them on your
hands.
